India- land of enormous culture
Where progress is second name of future
Land for which millions
Shed their lives
Recount the inception days of revolution
In thy mind
200 years of struggle
Mostly with non violence

Martyr's too had families
But they never second thought
With bravery they fought
Imagine when life out of their body oozed out
And their soul shuddered
Their divine spirit merged
Mother earth
We never conquered anyone else's land
We taught the world yoga
And peace of mind how to comprehend
If today we are safe and secure
And this is a boon
Only because of the soldiers
Who are up at the border
Be at midnight or noon.
